ABOUT THE CURRICULUM
​WHAT IS IT ABOUT
Welcome to Yatra Yoga Asana and Sequencing, an enriching 8-module journey that blends the essence of traditional yoga postures with dynamic sequencing to create a powerful, holistic practice. This unique series is designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills to not only master individual postures but also artfully weave them into a harmonious flow, drawing inspiration from Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa traditions.
You will learn, practice, and integrate:
• The foundation and dive deep into more than 30 traditional Yogic postures with impeccable alignment and focus. Including: Triangle + inversion, Warrior 1-2-3 + inversion, extended side angle, Half lord of the fishes, Pigeon, Wheel, Crow and side crow, , shoulder stand, headstand variation, Lotus fish, Wheel, Halasana, and more.
• Master traditional Hatha Surya Namaskar.
• Evolve into Ashtanga Surya Namaskar A and B with correct techniques, alignment, flow, flexibility, strength, and focus.
• Transition from one posture to another in a fluid and synergistic way. Balancing between standing postures, sitting postures, stretch, and peak poses.
• YATRA YOGA serie 1 sequencing: a powerful sequence merging Ashtanga, Hatha, and Vinyasa.
• Succeed in four powerful pranayama and learn how to apply them in your daily practice as well as in ceremonial contexts with Ganja and Soma Amrita (the yogic elixir of non-death).
• Meditation techniques from a Yogi's perspective.
• How to calm your mind, focus your attention, connect with your inner power, and channel your energy into precise and efficient ways.
• Integrate a daily practice step by step into your routine.
• How to use Yoga to go beyond limiting beliefs and move into a fulfilling and connected life.
• Apply Yoga in your life, relationships, and your service to the world.

For half of the classes, the emphasis is towards the art of sequencing. We'll guide you in dynamic flows that seamlessly integrate Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa elements. These classes will explore the incorporation of inversions, adding an exciting dimension to your practice. You'll learn to thread postures together, fostering a sense of fluidity and grace in your movements.

The other half of the classes, delving into the intricacies of traditional yoga postures. Each class will be dedicated to exploring specific poses, ensuring that you grasp the correct alignment for maximum benefits. Our focus is to provide you with the tools and understanding needed to confidently build your own practice at home. Through detailed exploration, we'll unravel the nuances of each posture, guiding you towards mastery.

Throughout the Yatra Yoga journey, you'll delve into more than just physical postures. Breathwork techniques will be unveiled, aiding in the stabilization of your cardiac rhythm. The classes will address balance and correct strength, promoting a deep understanding of your body. By cultivating awareness, you'll refine your attention, fostering a sharp focus and a clear mind.
This course is much more than a physical exercise; it is a holistic exploration of self. You'll learn to energize yourself, developing a profound connection with your body, heart, mind, and soul.
